Project overview
Forty covers that turn fast and linger long
Copperline needed an all-day room: laptop mornings, brisk lunches and slow natural-wine evenings — all in a narrow 90-square-metre railway arch with one long queue-prone counter.
The challenge
Three dayparts, one floor, zero room for a second till. Acoustic chaos from bare brick had to go without losing the arch's industrial character.
Our approach
We split the plan into a fast front bar and a slow back dining room, ran leather banquettes along the brick to tame echo, and lit tables — not ceilings — with brass pendants on dimmers that shift the mood from 8am to 11pm.

Leather, steel and low warm light
Outcome
"Footfall is up strongly since the refit and the room photographs itself. Marrowlane understood hospitality flow better than consultants twice their size."
