Our story

Twenty-five years of rooms that feel inevitable

Marrowlane began in 2000 with two designers, one borrowed van and a belief that good rooms are planned, not decorated. Today our architects, interior designers and site managers deliver homes, hotels and workplaces across New York and beyond.

What hasn't changed is the method: measure twice, listen longer, and sweat the hinge, the grout line and the way afternoon light lands on the wall.

What we stand by

Three rules run every project

01

Listen before drawing

Every commission starts with a walk, a long conversation and a measured survey — never with a catalogue.

02

One accountable team

Designers, engineers and builders sit at the same table, so nothing is lost between drawing and wall.

03

Built to be lived in

We specify honest materials and certify every trade, so rooms age gracefully instead of wearing out.
